LEANN M. LUUKKONEN-LEVESQUE March 9, 1954 - August 3, 2014 Leann M. Luukkonen Levesque, Age 60 of Nevis, MN passed away on Sunday, August 3, 2014 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Park Rapids. Leann was born on March 9, 1954 in Park Rapids, MN to MaryAnn (Hooker) Luukkonen and Roy A. Luukkonen. She attended school at Park Rapids Area Schools and received her Real Estate License from the Board of Realty in Minneapolis. Leann was a licensed Realtor, living in both Walker and Nevis during her career. She was a member of the Walker Chamber of Commerce. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, fishing, fund-raising and horseback riding. Family was very important to Leann. Leann is survived by her mother MaryAnn Luukkonen, siblings: Larry Luukkonen, Leslie (Barb) Luukkonen, Lavonne Bonnie Luukkonen-Karkinen and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Roy Luukkonen, brother Leroy Luukkonen, and many aunts and uncles. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 8, 2014 at the Jones-Pearson Funeral Home in Park Rapids. Interment will be made at the Lake Alice Cemetery. There will be a Visitation for one hour prior to the service beginning at 12 noon on Friday at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred - to be sent to a Battered Women's Shelter, Humane Society, Children of Addicts, Elder Care Food Programs, Elder Abuse in Hubbard County Awareness, or Audrey's Purple Dream.
